The Keeping Abreast Foundation came about as a result of the dedication and hard work of The Krewe du YaYas.  The passion and commitment of these women has set a trend in philanthropy for other Mardi Gras Krewes along the gulf coast.  The YaYas have set the bar in fundraising and strive everyday to bring awareness to our community.  All funds raised stay local to benefit individuals in our community.  The Krewe du YaYas  are truly a Mardi Gras krewe with a purpose!
